Hiney to lead the Dubs

Stephen Hiney has been confirmed as the new Dublin hurling captain for the coming season. The Ballyboden St. Enda's clubman was vice-captain last season and has taken over the role from Philip Brennan this year. "Stephen Hiney is our new captain for the season," Dublin boss Tommy Naughton confirmed. "He was our vice last season and is an important player for us in defence. "I hope he is a good leader and he has always been important to the team."
