Val Andrews as Cavan manager
Gerry Harrington will serve a third term as Dublin chairman after successfully seeing off the challenge of Val Andrews at the county board's annual convention on Monday night.
Andrews, who previously managed the Louth and Cavan senior football teams and has been in charge of the Leinster Inter-provincial side for the past two years, surprised many people when he declared his interest in the post.
He had even launched his own website to promote his candidacy, but in the end lost out to Cork native Harrington by 171 votes to 99.
