Plunkett's appeal fails
October 14, 2006
Na Fianna have been cleared to face St. Vincent's in the Dublin SFC semi-final after an appeal by St. Oliver Plunkett's/Eohgan Ruadh to the Dublin GAC failed on Friday night, October 13.
The Navan Road club, who lost to Na Fianna by a point in last weekend's quarter-final, were objecting to the eligibility of Na Fianna's former Mayo player Gary Mullins.
Mullins also had a personal hearing with the Disputes Resolution Committee in Croke Park on Friday night with regard to a 12-week ban he received following a sending off in Chicago during the summer. He lost this appeal.
