Cumann Lúthchleas Gael Dhún na nGall is delighted with the announcement last night that Jim McGuinness has been chosen as the Donegal Person of the Year for 2012. This is a fantastic and deserving honour for Jim and his family.

The Donegal G.A.A. County Board would like to take this opportunity to congratulate Jim and also acknowledge his backroom team and full panel of players who through their tremendous efforts last year were surely instrumental in Jim being conferred with this special award.

There is no doubt that all the Donegal people here in the county, across Ireland and throughout the world will be delighted with this wonderful news.
