Heffernan pays tribute to former team-mate

GAA legend Kevin Heffernan has paid tribute to his former Dublin team-mate Jackie Gilroy who has passed away at the age of 65.
A St. Vincents clubman, the late Mr. Gilroy was part of the Dublin panel which claimed the All-Ireland SFC by beating Galway in 1963.
A lifelong supporter of the GAA, Mr. Gilroy was born in Raheny and spent a lifetime working in the newspaper production business.
"He had a tremendous passion for the game and had an extraordinary commitment to St. Vincent's and to his family," said Heffernan.
