Kilcoo maintained their vice-like grip on the Down SFC silverware when claiming their fifth title in-a-row at Clonduff's expense today.

The Pairc Esler scoreboard read Kilcoo 3-11, Clonduff 0-9 final at the full-time whistle.

The winners laid the foundations for their comprehensive victory in the opening 30 minutes and they went in at the break holding a commanding 2-8 to 0-1 lead.

Aaron Morgan and 'man-of-the-match' Daryl Branagan found the back of the Clonduff net in the first-half and Ceilum Doherty added a third in the second-half.

Such was their dominance, they could even afford the luxury of having Eugene Branagan sent off in the second-half en route to picking up their 15th county crown.
