Donegal manager Brian McIver has recalled experienced forwards Adrian Sweeney and Brendan Devanney to his squad. The duo have been recalled in a bid to bolster a struggling Donegal attack which has been over-reliant on Colm McFadden for scores this year. Sweeney was used mainly as an impact substitute by McIver over the past two years, while Devenney played a starring role in last year's historic capture of the National League title, though his season was subsequently blighted by a stomach muscle injury. Sweeney and Devenney could see action in Donegal's remaining two Division 1 games against Laois and Derry which will determine if they will qualify for the NFL final once again.
