Lyng back in, but no return for Johnston

Michael Lyng (Cavan Gaels) gets away from Ballinagh's Damien McInerney during the Cavan SFC final at Breffni Park
Cavan boss Terry Hyland has not included Seanie Johnston amongst three new players selected in his panel for 2014.
Johnston returned for his native Cavan Gaels from St Kevin's in Kildare at the quarter-final stage of the Cavan SFC last month and helped inspire them to the competition's final earlier this month when they were upset by 7/1 outsiders Ballinagh.
Speculation mounted that the 29-year-old could be set for a return to Cavan colours, but Hyland, who guided the Blues to an All-Ireland SFC quarter-final this past season, has yet to include him in his squad which features new faces in the form of Kingscourt's Philip Tinnelly and Packie Leddy of Redhills. Micheál Lyng also returns to the set-up having last featured in 2012 under Dubliner Val Andrews.
Lyng made his senior debut for Cavan in 2004 following an excellent year for the Breffni minors the previous season. He impressed for Cavan Gaels in a centre-forward playmaker role this past season and is the holder of seven SFC medals.
"Mickey probably would have always been there, he moved to Mayo last year, he did a bit of travelling and he probably got his appetite back to play inter-county football," Hyland told The Anglo-Celt newspaper.
