DOWN CAMOGIE DIVISION 3 AND 4 CHAMPIONSHIP FINALS
SUNDAY 22 AUGUST 2010
3.00pm: Division 3 Championship Final - Ballela v Bredagh
This Division 3 final should be an interesting affair. Ballela progressed to the final by narrowly beating Division 3 League Winners, Longstone, in the semi-final by a point in the last minute of the game while Bredagh earned their place in the final by overcoming Darragh Cross who currently share 4th place with them in the league. Ballela, who are sitting 3rd in the league, will be slight favourites to win but Bredagh could be the dark horses in this competition as it could go either way on the day.
1.30pm: Division 4 Championship Final - Dromara v Kilcoo
Kilcoo's last appearance in the final in 2004 saw them lose out to Warrenpoint. Their opponents and current league leaders, Dromara's, last final was in 1993 when they won the Novice League with their current captain, Tracey O'Reilly, playing on that team. Dromara will go into this final as slight favourites but it is expected to be a very closely contested affair.

DOWN CAMOGIE U12 LEAGUE FINAL PLAY OFFS
SATURDAY 21 AUGUST 2010
Portaferry v Warrenpoint
Portaferry face Warrenpoint in this year's U12 League Final Play Offs for the Gold and Silver medals. Clonduff and Atticall were close contenders for the number one spot in the U12 Section 1 group but Warrenpoint came out on top dropping only one game. In Section 2 Portaferry were closely chased by their neighbours Ballycran but emerged as eventual winners. Portaferry will go into this final as slight favourites having already won this year's U12 Championship and looking to do the double but Warrenpoint's hunger for Gold might edge them in front on the day. In Section 3 of the U12 League Kilcoo won all their games and are well deserving of this year's Bronze Medals in the competition.
