Sarsfields have qualified directly for the Cork PSHC semi-finals.

Cathal McCarthy scored the only goal as the holders eased to a 1-25 to 0-12 victory over Bishopstown in their final group game. Meanwhile, Midleton, Newtownshandrum and Kanturk joined the already-qualified Blackrock, Fr O’Neill’s and Imokilly in the quarter-finals.

Conor Lehane shot 0-14 for last year’s runners-up Midleton in a 0-23 to 1-17 victory over Erin’s Own which sets up a last-eight meeting with Newtownshandrum who defeated Douglas by 2-17 to 0-19 thanks to goals from Conor Griffin and Ronan Geary.

Alan Connolly scored 1-7 for Blackrock in a 3-18 to 1-19 win over Fr O’Neill’s to top their group. The Rockies will now face Kanturk who edged out Charleville 4-20 to 3-21.

The relegation playoff will be contested by Charleville and Bishopstown.
