PJ O’Mullan has stepped down as Derry senior camogie manager after two years in charge.

The Loughgiel Shamrocks clubman guided the Oak Leafers to All-Ireland intermediate glory last year after a replay victory over Meath. This year, they lost the National League Division 2A and Ulster Senior Championship finals to Westmeath and Antrim respectively before bouncing back with wins over Antrim and Limerick in the All-Ireland Championship.

However, a defeat to Waterford knocked them out of the O’Duffy Cup race.

“Derry camogie would like to thank PJ O'Mullan and his management panel for their tremendous effort with the Derry Senior Camogie team,” the county board posted on Facebook.

“We sincerely thank PJ, and his entire backroom team for their hard work and dedication throughout the 2023 and 2024 season. We wish them the very best in their future endeavours.”
