Tomorrow afternoon’s Longford senior football championship meeting between Killoe and Mostrim has been called off as issues continue to rumble on within the county.
Champions Killoe are currently serving a 48-week ban which is understood to be over a €750 fine that was handed down by the Longford GAA's Hearings Committee back in February over the club's failure to show up for their county U16 A final against St Colmcille’s-St Francis a month earlier.
A mediation hearing aimed at resolving is understood to have ended in stalemate last night and the scheduled game between Killoe and Mostrim tomorrow has been officially postponed.
Further negotiations are said to be scheduled for next week.
