Ballymun Kickhams' emphatic sixteen point win over Thomas Davis this evening ensured their place in the Dublin SFC quarter finals.
The subject of a new documentary which aired on RTÉ for the first time this week, Ballymun hadn't it all their own way in the first half at Parnell Park, when leading a youthful Thomas Davis side by 1-5 to 0-6 at the break, with Dublin All-Star James McCarthy scoring a goal in the opening seconds.
Also boasting the likes of Philly McMahon, John and Paddy Small and Dean Rock, Brendan Hackett's side found another gear to cruise past Thomas Davis in the second period as substitute Dillon Keating blasted home a third goal near the end.
Skerries Harps edged Thomas Davis for the runners up spot in Group 1 following their 3-15 to 2-10 win against neighbours Round Towers of Lusk in Garristown.
St Jude's progressed from Group 2 with a perfect record, defeating Lucan Sarsfields 2-10 to 0-8 while Na Fianna join them in second place after beating Ballinteer St John's on the exact same scoreline.

In Group 3, Ballyboden St Enda's had booked themselves into the quarter final stage before this evening's 4-22 to 1-10 win at Whitehall Colmcille's expense. St Vincent's qualified courtesy of their 2-16 to 0-11 defeat of Clontarf in the second part of a Parnell Park double header.
The third round of action continues tomorrow with Castleknock and Kilmacud Crokes meeting at Parnell Park instead of O'Toole Park. The other Group 4 game between Raheny and St Oliver Plunkett's Eoghan Ruadh has been postponed due to Covid-19.
