Former Donegal All Star and All-Ireland winner Mark McHugh will coach the Fermanagh minor footballers in 2020.
McHugh has agreed to join manager Maurice McLaughlin's backroom team and will face his native county in the first round of the Ulster MFL. The Kilcar man takes the role after his hopes of getting involved with the Donegal U20s as part of a Gary Duffy-led management didn't work out.
"I want to get a wee bit of experience in the coaching and they train in Irvinestown which is as close to me as Letterkenny or Convoy," he explained to the Irish Daily Star.
"And it is a chance for me to get a bit of experience and see a different perspective and try and improve the players. I am looking forward to this coaching role and you can't play football forever."
