Wexford midfielder Diarmuid O’Keeffe will be available for the Allianz National Hurling League next year, despite heading off on his travels last week.

Following a long year which saw O’Keeffe pick up a Leinster SHC medal and an All-Star award, while with his club St Anne's he helped them reach a county SHC final.

O’Keeffe has jetted off to Puerto Rico, but he will join up with the rest of the Wexford squad for the trip to Orlando next week.

The All-Star midfielder was due to go on his travels at an earlier date, but his club’s run to the county final delayed his departure date.

Now, he is expected back for the start of the 2020 NHL which means his time away will be shorter than he first intended.
