Kerry defender Peter Crowley has been hit with an eight-week ban for an incident during of last Sunday week’s draw All-Ireland SFC final when he was seen to squirt water on a Dublin player.
Crowley was charged under rule &.2c, Category 11A, prohibiting mis-conduct by an official involving physical interference.
Having been side-lined by a cruciate ligament injury since before this year's championship commenced, his acceptance of the ban means he will not be on the line for tomorrow evening’s replay at Croke Park (throw-in 6.00pm).
