A walkover was given by a team in the Waterford senior football championship for the second weekend running.
Last week, Brickey Rangers handed a walkover to An Rinn, while yesterday Gaultier were unable to field against Ballinacourty as they had only 13 players available. It meant Ballinacourty progressed to the quarter-finals without kicking a ball.
"Our Senior Football Championship match v Gaultier, due to take place in Leamybrien tomorrow, Sunday 14th July, has been cancelled as our opponents are unable to field. This means we top Group C with three wins from three and qualify automatically for the quarter finals which will take place in September," Ballinacourty posted on Twitter on Saturday.Tweet
