The draw for the 2019 Roscommon senior football championship has been made.
Defending champions Clann na nGael will have to hit the ground running as they have been drawn in a very tough group.
The Clanns are in Group C alongside Padraig Pearses, Western Gaels and Boyle, where there will be no room for errors as all sides have a realistic chance of making the knockout stages.
Last year’s finalists and former kingpins St Brigid’s have been placed in a group that they will be strong favourites to come out of as they face 2018 IFC champions Fuerty, Elphin and St Croan’s.
In Group B, Roscommon Gaels, Strokestown, St Faithleach’s and Michael Glavey’s will battle it for a place in the quarterfinals.
