HL2B: Wicklow off to a winning start in Birmingham

Wicklow enjoyed a comprehensive 15-point success over Warwickshire in the first round of the Allianz HL 2B today.

It finished 2-20 to 0-11 in favour of the Garden County after the visitors produced a strong second-half showing.

Eamonn Scallan's side led by just 0-7 to 0-6 at the interval but pulled away after the resumption with debutant Michael Boland and substitute John Henderson grabbing their goals.
