Tyrone secretary Dominic McCaughey takes a swipe at referee David Coldrick in his report to next Tuesday's county convention in Garvaghey.

In a wide-ranging report, McCaughey is critical of the Meath match official's handling of last summer's Super 8s clash between Tyrone and Dublin at Healy Park.

"In an intense encounter, in front of a maximum capacity attendance, the visitors led by two points at the halfway stage and despite a stirring second half performance, Tir Eoghain remained three points adrift when the final whistle sounded," he writes.

"While the performances of all players who participated was of an exceptionally high standard, it was disappointing that that of the referee did not match the occasion, but fell below his usual exceptionally high standards, and as displayed in the previous two games at which he officiated with Tir Eoghain in this year's championship."
