Aidan O'Shea says winning a Mayo SFC title with Breaffy next Sunday would be his greatest achievement in football.

Breaffy are bidding to capture the Moclair Cup for the first time at Ballintubber's expense after losing their previous final appearances in 2013 and '15.

"I think, especially for the year that's in it and the fact that we have been so immersed in the club scene, it would make it even more special," the Mayo star said in an interview with the Western People.

"The fact that we got to spend even more time with the lads and the club and being around the place, it's been really refreshing and a really enjoyable experience so it would be nice to end the year on a very positive note.

"We've only lost two games between league and championship. We lost to Castlebar by a point in the league and Kiltimagh caught us in a league game as well when we were down a few players. Apart from that, we have won every game since and have been on a good run."
