Stephen O’Keeffe’s Waterford goalkeeper understudy Ian O’Regan has decided to depart the inter-county scene.
The long-serving Mount Sion clubman has revealed via Twitter that new manager Paraic Fanning will have to plan without his services for 2019.
A regular starter in the league, ‘Iggy’ replaced O’Keeffe between the posts for the Deise’s Munster SHC fixture with Cork at Semple Stadium this summer.
O'Regan joins Ballygunner full-back Barry Coughlan in inter-county retirement.
