Diarmuid Connolly watched from the terrace as St. Vincent's cruised to a 4-18 to 0-13 victory over Lucan Sarsfields in the Dublin SFC this evening.

The exiled Dublin star, who returned from his summer adventure in Boston last weekend, wasn't togged out for the Marino men, who were already assured of a quarter-final berth.

Cormac Diamond's goal helped them to a 1-10 to 0-8 interval lead and they added three more after the restart to ease to their third win in Group 2.

Na Fianna have also qualified from Group 2 thanks to a 1-12 apiece draw with Skerries Harps in Parnell Park.

With Stephen Smith helping himself to 1-7, Skerries led by six points six minutes into the second half, but an Aaron Byrne penalty brought the Mobhi Road men back into contention. Alastair Fitzgerald fisted Na Fianna into a 1-12 to 1-11 lead before Ross McGarry earned a share of the spoils for Skerries with an injury-time point.
