James Madden has been drafted into the Dublin defence for their rescheduled Allianz HL quarter-final meeting with Tipperary at Parnell Park on Sunday.

In the only change from the side named for the original fixture which fell victim to the freezing weather last weekend, the Ballyboden St Enda's clubman replaces the more experienced John McCaffrey at wing-back.

The Dubs proved too good for Laois in the latest outing two weeks ago, running out 15-point winners to qualify for the knockout stages and manager Pat Gilroy will be hoping they can build on that performance.

Dublin (Allianz HL v Tipperary): Alan Nolan; Paddy Smyth, Bill O'Carroll, Eoghan O'Donnell; Shane Barrett, Chris Crummey, James Madden; Rian McBride, Fiontan McGibb; Donal Burke, Conal Keaney, Danny Sutcliffe; Ronan Hayes, Ryan O'Dwyer, Paul Winters.
