Any talk of promotion for the Galway footballers is confined to the terraces, according to manager Kevin Walsh.
Following their win over Fermanagh, the Tribesmen have three points on the board and are still very much in the hunt for promotion.
Galway's next match is at home to another unbeaten side, Clare on February 26th and that is Walsh's only focus at the moment.
Speaking to the Connacht Tribune, he said: "As for any talk of promotion, we are just very much focused on the next match and to stick to the processes and structures that we have in place. There is no point looking beyond Clare on Sunday week."
Galway are currently third in the table level on points with Clare who have a better score difference as Kildare lead the way as they maintain their 100% record to the start of the season.
