Donegal manager Rory Gallagher is on the lookout for a new selector/coach after Gary McDaid stepped down due to family commitments.
Gallagher confirmed to Highland Radio that McDaid has decided to end his involvement after just one season. The schoolteacher in St. Eunan's College, Letterkenny joined the set-up this time last year after leading Glenswilly to two Donegal SFC titles in three years.
Gallagher, who is in process of putting together his management team for next season, is set to retain the services of Jack Cooney, despite speculation linking him to the U21 manager's post in his native Westmeath.
