Paddy Collins has been appointed to the Disputes Resolution Authority (DRA).
Widely regarded as one of the top football referees of all time, Collins took charge of All-Ireland senior finals in 1976, '81, '84 and '89. He also served as Westmeath county board secretary for more than two decades.
He joins fellow Westmeath man Matt Shaw, who has been secretary of the independent arbitration body which hears GAA disputes since 2009.
