November 04, 2013

James Gorman of Kilcormac-Killoughey. INPHO
Kilcormac-Killoughey 1-18
Camross 1-10

Holders Kilcormac-Killoughey are safely through to the semi-final stages of the Leinster Club SHC following this eight-point victory over Camross yesterday.

The Offaly champions were slow out of the traps and fell three points in arrears after 15 minutes but they soon found their rhythm and went in at the break leading by 0-10 to 0-8.

A goal by James Gorman put clear daylight between the sides in the second half as Danny Owens' men outscored their opponents by 1-8 to 1-2.

Camross netted a late consolation goal through Tomas Burke.

Kilcormac-Killoughey will now renew acquaintances with Oulart-The Ballagh - who they defeated in the final 12 months ago - in the semi-final.
