DUBLIN 2-15
WEXFORD 1-14
Dublin retained the Leinster MHC title with a four point win over Wexford in the decider at Croke Park yesterday.
Paul Winters' second half goal helped the young Dubs over the finishing line after some wayward shooting saw them accumulate 14 wides.
Wexford captain Andrew Kenny raised game's first green flag in the 16th when firing a 20 metre free to the back of the Dublin net.
Sean Treacy replied with Dublin's opening goal and the sides were level at the break on 1-8 apiece.
The game's decisive score arrived in the 47th minute when a long delivery from Sean McClelland was batted down by Oisin O'Rorke into the path of Winters who made no mistake from close range.
The dismissal of corner-back Eric Lowndes failed to knock Dublin out of their stride.
