DCU beat NUI Maynooth by 2-17 to 0-7 in the Sigerson Cup final at Pearse Stadium.
Dublin's Paul Flynn and Sligo's David Kelly hit the winners' goals in the second half. Flynn and his Dublin colleagues Dean Rock and Eoghan O'Gara were instrumental in DCU's third Sigerson success in seven years, bagging 1-11 between them.
Maynooth must have been happy with their first-half efforts as they trailed by just 0-6 to 0-4 at the break but Flynn netted four minutes after the restart and it was all over long before substitute Kelly added the second three-pointer in the 47th minute, 2-14 to 0-6.
Donegal's Michael Murphy also announced his return from injury with a 20-minute appearance in the second half, notching a point. Westmeath's Kieran Gavin accepted the silverware after the final whistle, with Flynn taking the Man of the Match award.
