Marsden is Clan an Gael 'player of the year'
March 05, 2007
Former All-Star Diarmuid Marsden has received the Clan na Gael senior 'player of the year' award for last season.
The former county stalwart was in outstanding form for the club over the 2006 season, and played a leading role in their great championship run.
Marsden is now rejoining the senior county panel, and should be available for selection for the Orchard county side towards the end of the league campaign, and in good time for the championship.
His return to county action is eagerly anticipated by the Armagh management and supporters - as the player has still a lot to contribute on the county stage.
