The Late John Elliott John Elliott, who passed away, was best known as a Hurler and was on the Newcastle team that won a Junior Hurling Championship in 1983. He was also involved in administration and was Vice-Chairman of the old North board at a time when Bart Fitzsimons was in his hayday; Our sympathy to his mother, his wife, two sons and daughter and extended family.
