The lads got their first league points of the year with a good win over Barndarrig today on a scoreline of 4-8 to 9pts. It was a good team performance but far from the finished article. Sean, Paddy, Padraig and Roan were the stand out performers. Next up are Ashford away next Sunday.  The weekend also saw the launch of the "hill billies" in aid of the juveniles. Each week we will head to the local hills for a stroll on a Sunday afternoon. This week the group headed to the site of the avalanche of the side of the gap hill as its the 150yr anniversary. Helen was excellent storyteller on site. Kick off is 1.30 at the pitch. Cost is 2euro or 5 for a family. Finally there was no lotto jackpot winner last week.
