Andy O'Brien came off the bench to inspire Wicklow to victory over Mayo at McHale Park.

The sides were deadlocked on 0-5 apiece at the break but O'Brien - who raised three white flags in total - edged the Garden County in front with his first touch in the second half.

Mikey Lee's accuracy from placed balls was also a key ingredient in the visitor's winning formula.

The right corner-forward finished with 0-8 - six frees - to his name.
