An Tóchar GAA Club Notes

May 20, 2013
Our Juniors turned in another spirited performance in the championship against a strong Baltinglass side on Saturday night. Having already suffered a heavy defeat to this same opposition in the league & short a few regulars, our lads travelled to Hollywood more in hope than expectation. However a strong team performance from the start saw our young team push their opponents all the way to the final whistle. Accuracy was an issue for both sides in this game where defences were on top throughout but it was a very entertaining championship tie and the type of performance of which all our lads can be proud.
A special mention for Bill Halligan on his comeback. We know we only have him on loan from the seniors but we're all glad to see him back in action!!

Maintenance Day
The club has several (minor) maintenance jobs which have been on the long finger for some time now. It is intended to tackle some, or all, of these on Sat 15th June. We would appreciate as many pairs of hands as possible for a few hours on this day. Further details to follow.

The club extends its sympathies to the family of Dick McGuirk who died last Saturday.
