Our intermediate team were in top form in Aughrim on Sunday last when they beat Rathnew in the championship.

Our selectors were spoiled for choice again with a full squad in attendance. Star midfielder Niall Curran started the ball rolling with a point early in play and did the same in the start of the second half.

Two goals by Alan Daly and five points by Ed Flynn our top scorers were a big help in our easy win.

Rathnew were very unfortunate to have o man red carded early in the second half.
