Well done to our Junior A team who beat Barndarrig in the league away last Sun Jordan Nolan & Mikey O Connor 0-4 each, Trevor O Donnell 1-0 and Barry O Donovan 0-1. The lads play St Patrick's in the Champ next sun 19th at 12 noon in Roundwood. Our Junior C were beaten by Lacken 2-9 to 2-8 last week ,they play Baltinglass next Thurs.Our ladies beat AGB 2-13 to 1-4 in Intermediate League Jessica Carroll 0-6, Cleva Scully 1-2, Niamh Carroll 0-3 , Katie charles 1-0, Kim O Connor & Niamh Allen 0-1 each. On Sun our ladies suffered their first defeat to Bray, but you can't win them all. Hard luck to Wicklow Ladies U16 who lost the Leinster Final by just 3 points well done to our girls involved captain Molly Cullen & Amy Ryan. The ladies are looking for help with the Gaelic4mothers if you are interested contact Jessica 086 8602822.Hard luck to Wicklow Minors in the Leinster Q/F beaten by Westmeath in Mullingar we were represented by John Murphy (Selector), Thomas Donohoe, Conor Devlin, David Boothman, Ian Richardson, Mikey O Connor, Jack Gilligan, Patrick O Connor and their Kilbride colleague Hughie Walsh, well done in your campaign lads. Our lotto draw was held on Tues next 7th May in Hennessy's with Jackpot at €11,200 there was no winner and Jackpot is now €11,400 on Tues 21st May In Hennessys, 8 matched 3 numbers getting €40 each. We had one winner in the 2nd Development Draw David Gardiner c/o paddy Brophy €150, well done to Thomas Burke Hollywood who won 1st Prize €10,000.

Juvenile
Hard luck to the Wicklow Minors who lost to Westmeath in the Leinster Quarter Final last Sat 11th in Mullingar 2-13 to Wicklow 0-10. Well done to the management and players especially our club lads John Murphy (Selector) Conor Devlin, David Boothman, Thomas Donohoe, Ian Richardson, Mikey O Connor, Jack Gilligan and Patrick O Connor.

Our own Minor team will play in the Minor Winter League semi final this coming Fri 17 May v St Nicks. (This game was originally scheduled to be played on Tue 13 May.) Time and venue to be confirmed. The other semi final is between St Kevin's and Tinahely. The final of the league will be played on Tues 21 May and the venue will depend on the finalists.

Our U12s travelled to Eire Og Greystones last Tues 8 May where they fought a great battle. With just 18 players to Greystones 31 players our lads did a fantastic job in the second half of the matches. Our U12s play a challenge match away to St Marys in Saggart on Wed 15th May. Our U16s also travelled to Greystones last Mon and beat Eire Og on a score line of 3-11 to 1-08. Next up is a home match v Carnew on Mon 20 May. Our U14s play away to AGB on Wed 15 May.

Our U11 hurlers play away to Glenealy and U12 hurlers play away to Carnew on Mon 13 May. The football Go Games will take place in Donard/Glen this Sat 18 May.

Blessington GAA would like to express their sincere sympathy to our Feile Peil na nOg host team of Craigbane GAA in Derry over the tragic death of Cathal Donaghy who was killed last weekend. Blessington GAA have been chosen to host an official Youth Camp for the county which will be organised by the GAA/GPA to cater for boys (of all playing ability) between the ages of 13 - 15 years who wish to play GAA Games and learn the skills of the games with high profile inter-county players and other qualified GAA coaches in a safe environment. This initiative will be supported by a website and the cost will be €60 (online booking only). The website will be live from May 20th.
