Kilbride club notes
April 30, 2012If you are reading this online, The Men's team play Blessington Tuesday night in the league the match has been moved to Blessington due to Kilbride being unplayable, your support would be much appreciated, the men's training will continue on Thursday at 7.30pm in the field and all are welcome
Kilbride Ladies training continues Mondays and Wednesday at 7.30pm also.
On May 9th Wednesday week, Kilbride play Coolkenno in Kilbride at 7.30 this is a Cup Competition for Senior and Intermediate teams so put the date in your calendar and get down and support the Ladies.
Kilbride Ladies ran a very successful Charity night in the West Wicklow last Saturday in Aid of Breast Cancer and Mountain Rescue and a great night was had by all, the Ladies would like to sincerely thank all who helped out in any way on the night especially to all who donated spot prizes, the lads who were shaved and waxed.
CIARAN JONES MEMORIAL DAY.
Kilbride GAA would like to invite you to GAA pitch on Saturday 5th May to remember our late friend Ciaran Jones.
Ciaran made an impression on us all during his short life, both on and off the pitch.
An action packed and fun filled day is planned with Music, Food and a feast of football on the menu.
The day will start off at 3:30pm with a compromise rules match between Kilbride/Dunlavin and Clondalkin RFC.
Next up at 5:00pm we welcome All-Ireland Champions Wicklow Ladies to take on a Kilbride/West Selection is a Ladies exhibition match.
At 6:00pm a Kilbride/Dunlavin/Guest selection will play Blessington Senior Football Team.
Perpetual trophies will be awarded after the games, together with commemorative medals for all players.
The new Kilbride Jersey will be unveiled by the Jones family, before we adjourn to Mooney's…
