FL4 round-up: Fermanagh run riot in Kilkenny
March 04, 2012
Fermanagh, Carlow, Waterford and Clare all had wins today in the bottom division.
There was a massacre at Freshford as Fermanagh inflicted a 46-point defeat on hapless Kilkenny, 9-23 to 0-4, the winners finding the net six times in the first half.
Carlow beat London by 2-6 to 0-4 in Rusilip. The winners led by 0-4 to 0-2 at half time and Brian Murphy's goal shortly after the restart had the Barrowsiders in control, with the Exiles managing just two scores in each half.
Waterford enjoyed a 4-7 to 1-12 victory over Wicklow in Aughrim. Mark Ferncombe hit three early goals for the Decies, who took advantage of loose Garden County marking to lead by 3-2 to 0-3.
And the local derby between Clare and Limerick in Ennis finished in a 0-10 to 0-9 victory for the hosts.
