Rathnew club notes

February 24, 2020

Rathnew Gaa 1885 is the clubs one and only official Facebook page. Any other page with our name has nothing to do with our club and is run by someone with also nothing to do with our club. Please dislike any other page with our name thanks.

All club jerseys and any other gear are now on sale on the Rathnew shop on the O'Neill's website or just follow the link on our Facebook page. We have also got in club Bobble hats for sale which can be seen on our Facebook page. They are €15 each and can be ordered by giving Hazel a text on 0860592935.

The 2020 Kellogg's Gaa Cul camp dates have been released with Rathnew pencilled in for 10th - 14th August. Go online to the Cul Camp website to book early.

Hard luck to both county senior teams who lost their league matches last weekend. Hopefully better luck this weekend with the hurlers away to Offaly on Sunday at 12.30 and the footballers heading over to London on Saturday for a 1pm start.

The minor team received their championship medals on Friday night in the Arches. It was a great night for everyone involved and hopefully not the last presentation night for these young men. Fionn O'Sullivan received both the management and players player of the year for a brilliant year. Apparently both trophies have already been named Charlie and Kevin after Fionns Grandfather and grand uncle. Well done to Alan Clarke and his team for organising a great night.

The senior team are home to Blessington on Sunday morning at 11am in the league.
