After many hours and days of deliberation, the judges chosen by the Wexford People finally chosen the greatest ever Wexford side, settling on an invincible-looking XV, the strength of which is underlined by the names omitted: Larry O'Gorman, Liam Dunne, Phil Wilson, Mick Jacob and the great 'Hopper' McGrath to name just a handful. The selection committee was Fr Lory Kehoe, Tony Dempsey, Phil Murphy, Liam Griffin and Martin Doyle.
