Wexford captain James Breen and Killian Kehoe celebrate after the the Leinster U21 final win over Longford.
A groin injury has ruled centre back James Breen out of Wexford's Leinster SFC quarter-final against the winners of Sunday's first round clash between Longford and Offaly.
Manager Aidan O'Brien is keeping his fingers crossed that the rest of his players will stay injury-free in club games between now and the June 15 encounter.
"James Breen will be out," he told the Irish Daily Star.
"He is struggling with injury and will be out for championship. He did have some operations previously before coming into the squad. It's groin-related.
"We have a few lads currently carrying injuries, but we hope they will be okay come championship."
