The Wexford County Board will use some of the money received from the sale of land for the development of their centre of excellence.

Last week, the County Board sold 26 acres of land adjacent to their centre of excellence in Ferns, for which they received €405,000.

The development had been on hold, but now with the sale of the land plus money already raised, work has begun on the site.

Once complete, the centre in Ferns will be a base for all Wexford teams for the coming years. Tweet
