The Wexford minor football management team are sweating over the fitness of midfielder Jamie Carty.

Wexford play Carlow in the losers' group section of the Leinster championship tonight (Wednesday) at Wexford Park.

Carty lined at full forward in the defeat to Westmeath in the opening round, but had to be withdrawn from the action before half time due to injury.

Despite lining out in goals for his club St Martin's during last weekend's SFC opener, he is still rated for an outfield role tonight. Tweet
