Frank Sheehan RIP

It is with great sadness that the London GAA Board announces the passing of a true Gael and friend, former chairman Frank Sheehan. Frank immigrated to London from Enniscorthy, Co. Wexford and began his playing career with the Cuchulainns Club. He then joined with Thomas Quirke and Larry Kehoe to found the Fr. Murphys Club in 1958. Frank went on to serve as secretary of the London County Board for over 10 years, held the office of treasurer, and was chairperson on two occasions. In more recent years, Frank served as a trustee of the Board, a role he held up until the time of his passing. The board extends it deepest sympathies to his beloved wife Margaret, his children Brendan and Maureen and his family and friends. May he Rest in Peace.
