Townland League

The 7th Annual Townland League will take place on Sunday 5th February in Páirc an Bodhrán. This is a great opportunity for young and old to get together to kick start the 2017 season (and earn some bragging rights over the neighbours in the process). The junior league will start at 12 noon while the senior league will be at 2pm. Refreshments will be available on the day so come along and enjoy a great afternoons entertainment.

Juvenile News

Our U14 and U16 footballers made an enthusiastic return to pre-season training last Friday evening in Ballinagore when thirty lads togged out to play a highly competitive and enjoyable game.Training continues on Friday evenings at 19:00. Lilliput Gaels juvenile AGM will take place shortly and notice will be issued as soon as date is set. The opening round of the Minor football league is scheduled for 5th February so the juvenile season is set to be in full flow very soon which we're sure will be very welcome news among all our young Lilliput Gaels footballers.

Gym membership is still available at the great price of €90 for adults and €70 for students.

Fitness classes are still going strong. But don't worry if you missed them, places are still available and new faces are always welcome.  It's great to have this facility at our club, so avail of these classes right on your doorstep. Classes are great fun and a great workout combined.

Monday: Zumba and Yogalates. Wednesday: Bodytone. These classes are for both men and women and are suitable for people of all fitness levels.

On Tuesday and Friday evenings between 7pm-9pm the lights will be on around the track. This is a safe and fun way to get some exercise in the evenings.

Saturdays 5k - No Age Limit, No Speed Limit, No Time Limit.

Great Turnout on Saturday morning for the 5km, well done to all who took part.  Why don't you start your weekend healthy and join the group next Saturday morning at 9.30am from the school in Ballinagore. Run or Walk & Talk as all fitness levels and ages welcome.

Congratulations to Chris Corroon on his fantastic performance Saturday Night on the Ray Darcy Show. You did everyone proud and what an honour to perform on TV and in front of none other than Olivia Newtown John.  Well done Chris.

Great Night was had by all on Friday in Mahon's at the Ballinagore Macra annual table quiz. Mick Heeney was in flying form as usual and kept the crowd entertained. Well done to all who organised such a great night and to all who attended.
