Ray Connellan is the only newcomer to championship football in the Westmeath team to face Louth in Saturday's Leinster SFC first round clash at Mullingar.
The Athlone youngster, who impressed during the ill-fated Allianz League campaign, starts at midfield alongside the experienced David Duffy. Goalkeeper Darren Quinn, full back Kieran Gavin and full forward John Heslin have all shaken off knocks to making the starting XV, while Caulry's Damian Dolan replaces the injured Steven Gilmore at right corner back.
Heslin is named in a potent looking full forward line along with Dessie Dolan and Denis Glennon.
Westmeath (SF v Louth): Darren Quinn; Damian Dolan, Kieran Gavin, Kevin Maguire; Ronan Foley, Paul Sharry (captain), James Dolan; David Duffy, Ray Connellan; Callum McCormack, Ger Egan, Kieran Martin; Denis Glennon, John Heslin, Dessie Dolan.
