Adult News
St Marys travelled to Rosemount on Tuesday 8th May to play the home team in a Division 6 league game. Fielding a skeleton team, St Marys nevertheless turned in a great performance to run out convincing winners on a score of 2-13 to 1-7. The following Friday 11th May the Division 7 team made the trip to Streamstown. Again tight for numbers, St Marys held a one point lead with time almost up when a wondrous point drew the game for St Josephs to cap a hugely enjoyable match. Final Score St Marys 1-10, St Josephs 0-13.
Next up for the club is the first round of the Junior Championship on May 27th.

Underage
The under 14s Played two games in the last couple of weeks. Firstly on 27th April St Marys travelled to Ballynacargy and after a poor start they gradually took control and eventually ran out worthy winners. Next up was a home game against Multyfarnham on Thursday 10th May. Again St Marys were the victors after a less than wholly convincing performance. Their next match against the unbeaten St Lomans should be a cracker.
The U16s continued on their winning ways on Monday 7th May with a home win against Caulry. In wet and murky conditions mistakes were commonplace and after building up a 9 point lead, St Marys almost let the game slip with the concession of two late goals. However they held on to win by 3 points but will have to smarten up in future games.
The Minors travelled to Springfield to take on Mullingar Shamrocks on Thursday 3rd May. St Marys battled well in the first half and were unfortunate to be 2 points in arrears at half-time. The second half wasn't so good for St Marys as Shamrocks got a grip on the game and ran out winners by 6 points. Had St Marys took their chances however a closer result would have ensued.
