U10 Boys:
Well done to Athlone U10 Boys on winning Group 2 of the South Westmeath League when they beat Kilbeggan/St. Josephs in their final match on Thursday last. The very high standard of football was a credit to their Managers TJ Hughes, Dermot Fox & Niall Lynch. The future is very bright for these young players. U12 Boys:
Congratulations to the U12 Boys on their defeat of Garrycastle last Wednesday, both teams played some outstanding football and showed wonderful skills but a stronger Athlone team won out on the day. Well done everyone.

Athlone U12 Girls 2-08 Kilbeggan/St. Josephs 0-6
Another great win for the Athlone U12 Girls when they defeated Kilbeggan/St. Josephs in a tight tough game of football last Thursday. Goal scorers on the day were Niamh McGann and Caoimhe MccIntyre. Great credit goes to all players and subs and to their mentors Seamus Mitchell and Damien McIntyre.

U14 Boys v Rosemount:
Commiserations to the U14 boys who were defeated by a stronger Rosemount in Div 1B of the league.

U8 Boys :
The U8 Boys have a blitz in Moate on Saturday, 19th May at 11am. All players will be contacted by text.

Sunday Morning Training:
Athlone GAA Training continues on Sunday for all groups from Under 6 to U12 Boys & Girls and U14 Girls. Boys and Girls all ages including new players very welcome. Just come along to Athlone GAA Club on Sunday morning or contact David O'Connell at 087 2397519.
