Westmeath manager Tommy Carr has surprisingly opted not to alter his team for tonight's Leinster MFC qualifier meeting with Carlow at Dr Cullen Park.

Changes were expected after the Lake County failed to score in the second half of their first round defeat to Louth nearly a month ago, but Carr has given the same players another chance. Some good news for Westmeath is that St. Mary's, Edenderry Hogan Cup winner Ger Leech is fit to take his place at centre forward after picking up another injury against the Wee County.

The winners of tonight's game can look forward to a Leinster quarter-final against Wicklow on May 19.
